Kaş is picture perfect with its turquoise krystal clear water, surrounded by the green rough Taurus mountains.

In summer you have hardly any chance on rain, the perfect weather to visit one of the many beaches around town or take a boattrip around the nearby small islands.

In spring, autumn and winter, or if you want a more active holiday, you have loads of choice: visit many of the archeological remains to discover more about our history and culture and explore nature in the water, on the mountain and from the sky.

The evening times or ideal to stroll around. The little streets of the center where you have many shops, with tourist friendly venders, cosy cafés, great restaurants are the perfect scenery for a filling evening. And for the night birds we have some nice dancing places.

The people are so wonderfull hospital that you feel immediately at home.

Kaş is a little fishermen’s town at the Lycian Coast, in the middle of ancient history. It is build on the rocky mountain Taurus and surrounded with chrystal clear turquoise water.

Kaş is the perfect location to visit the ancient cities of Xanthos, Tlos and Letoon or discover the church of Saint-Nicolas (Myra/ Demre) and his birthplace (Patara). At Patara also known as the longest sand beach of Turkiye, you find next to archelogical remains nests of sea turtles. In between Patara and Kaş we have another miracle of nature: Kaputaş Beach.

Kaş, in history known as AntiPhellos, is the middle of the Lycian Way, a walking path between Fethiye and Antalya, which brings you along different kind of historical places, private beaches, through olive and almond gardens, over mountain and along the coast.

Kaş offers a mix of sports. From the Taurus you can fly to the old harbour with a tandem paraglider, spotting this great scenery from the sky. For divers, the underwaterworld of Kaş is very special with ship and plane wrecks. And for who wants to stay on the water, they can kayak along the coast or above the sunken city of Kekova.

Paragliding Kaş

The climate conditions and geographical features make Kaş a prominent centre for paragliding. Taking off from Assas Mountain accompanied by skilled tandem pilots, you will discover Kaş and the whole region from above. Feel like an eagle!

Boat Tours

With one of the many gullets in the harbour you can discover the region from another perspective. They sail to little bays and around the little islands in the bay or take you to Kekova and the Sunken City. Each captain provides you with a perfect reaxing day, filled with sunbathing, cooling down in the water, snorkeling and some nice barbecue on the boat.

Trekking (Lycian Way)

Kaş is one of the best diving centres of the Mediterrean. The underwater life can be observed down to 40 meters. The temperature of the water is up to 28 C°, the small islands in the bay are under protection and there are no fish farms. All contribute tot he quality of the sea and the life in it. The sea has a rich underwater fauna and flora, remains of sunken cities and ship wrecks. Courses at all levels are taught in different languages.

Scuba Diving

This is the old way from Fethiye to Antalya. From Kaş you can take different routes to the East and West, walking antique paths through canyons, plains and valleys and exploring Lycian settlements and local villages. Trekking is possible all year round with appropriate gear.
